fabulous bookshelves

Bookshelves can make a room so much more interesting. I’m fond of keeping like colors together and adding artwork and objects to the mix. These images make me want to do a little revamping!

art booth :: take two

I have been working diligently on creating a new version of my art booth that I will propose to outdoor art shows within Colorado. Over the past several weekends I have hinged, painted, and lugged. I created the majority of the props by utilizing some nifty items found at Lowe’s. Please feel free to comment — I welcome your suggestions (both positive and negative).

This little sea bird has been waiting for months to be incorporated into a papier collé.

With thrift and imagination, she shows how to create an individual style without adopting a “look,” and encourages recycling, reusing, and mixing antique and junk-shop finds with your already-owned collectibles and ephemera. {via}

art studio interiors

I’m fond of checking out artist’s studios.

Is it organized?

Is it messy, cramped, and what type of lighting? {via}

Does the space echo the artwork produced in it? {via}

Is it tidy, clean, and bright? {via} I myself vote for this one.
