Yesterday was a very sad day, we had to say goodbye to our dear sweet Ruby. She was the kindest most loving dog I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was my sidekick. Lola, Frances, Pit and I are heartbroken. Here’s to Ruby, our Marketing Matriarch and our best friend, you will be forever missed.

I’m preparing 16 pieces to hang at Earthen Artisan House {EAH} for Friday’s ArtWalk. Always a great time as there are many exhibits happening up and down Old Colorado Avenue and into Manitou Springs. If you live in the area, stop on by. Erica of EAH also stocks our buckles and glass trays.
Friday night, Frances, Ruby and Lola took part in an evening at Hotel Monaco in Denver. This Kimpton Hotel is great in allowing your well behaved pets stay with you. In fact, if you don’t have a pet, you can request a goldfish in your room to keep you company. And yes, Miss Frances was the center of attention!

I’m a go-go girl … physically always on the run and mentally always thinking about what I have to do next. I read somewhere lately that it’s important to “live in the now.” That’s great advice, although I don’t think I can live every moment with that mantra, but I can at least take a block of time every day and just sit and contemplate. I asked my Dad while in Prince Edward Island this Summer why he was just sitting near the steps of the cottage and he said, “Just contemplating the World.”
