We’re loving the 60′s revival, the Brigitte Bardot look is back for the season. Of course, we took the liberty to add a little something something to her outfit. We’re fond of mixing the old with the new — a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds. New buckle :: Natural Curiosities, Crow #1.
We’re getting started on lookbooks and catalogues for our new belt buckle collections. Idea #1: Focusing on deep indigo and the warmth of natural elements such as wood and linen. Over the next several weeks we’ll be designing, photographing, editing, and going to print. It’s a bit daunting but oh so exciting.
I’m collaborating with my sister, Melissa {Lissy}, on a side line collection of belt buckles. We’ll be sure to keep you in the loop on our progress. These little gems will be ready to order just in time for the holidays.
Each glass tray is hand decoupaged. Many have metallic oil paint applied to the back of the glass, giving the artwork a phenominal sheen. The new line will be available next week. How exciting!
I’m working on a new line of glass trays and paperweights, each hand made using a technique that I’ve been working on for quite some time. With two shows coming up, one this Saturday and two in December, I’m a busy bee. Winterfest in Evergreen, Colorado is on Saturday the 12th.
