pairing art and interior : the crab and crow

This piece is still in the works. A papier collé of a mexican black bird. Artwork is on a 6 x 6 x 1 5/8 inch square birch wood panel. The sides are finished beautifully (gallery wrapped). san francisco dining : nettie’s crab shack
Just back from a long weekend in San Francisco.
We have to share this gem of a restaurant with you. A terrific menu, great casual atmosphere, and Nettie and Brian are delightful. Nettie’s crab roll is to die for and the fish and chips are the best we have ever had (really and truly). There are a lot of great restaurants in San Francisco, but this one’s a must.
