We’re crazy in love with this turquoise suede tassel jacket … found at Spell and the Gypsy Collective. Our staff has taken the liberty to add our favorite octo-envy buckle, it’s a match made in heaven.

This piece {hot off the easel} would be happy in this workspace. Don’t you think?

I’m crazy about octopuses or is it octopi? This piece is currently on the easel, next step is to add oil. The entire piece is 19″ x 19″.

We’re lovin’ this curated grouping of turquoise and orange. Thanks to Born at the Wrong Time we were featured among a sea of talent. I’m thinking a trip to the beach is in order!
Caught our eye:
- From Lara Minassian of La Crescenta, CA: Don’t miss this beautiful vintage floating mermaid wall plaque figurine made in the 1950s by Lefton.
- The Jelly Fish photograph is AWESOME! A Vintage Jellyfish Photograph – 8×10 Photo from Seven Eleven Studios in Muncie, Indiana.
- Don’t miss out on this ideal map, a Vintage Florida image of the Sarasota and Siesta Key area, it is altered and embellished with great retro colors. Straight from Vintage Beach Maps.
- Last but certainly not least, our octopus in the ocean belt buckle. It’s crazy beautiful.

I hit the ground running upon my return from Illinois. In preparation for the holiday rush and the Colorado College Art Show I have been decoupaging and collaging my papier collé pieces … here’s a sneak peek of the new collection {I’ll have them online to purchase next week}.

{the image via habitually chic, from a thomasville showroom} Of course, I added one of my paintings to give the room a much needed lift.

This lovely piece is looking for a home, it’s still on the easel but should be read by next week. For more information contact Nadine below.

We were featured by Konvaliia Designs out of New York with this beautiful combination of items from under the sea. Dana Lenec has a terrific array of photography and drawings in her store, so please be sure to check them out.
So many beautiful items, we’re exceptionally fond of the following:
- The sealife seashell pillow cover is spectacular. Ruth Arthur is the artist behind Designer Cushions out of New Zealand. This SHOP is a must see. Her prices are incredibly low for the amount of time that is put into each and every cushion cover. Her attention to detail is truly amazing.
- Non Fiction Tees, featuring tees with vintage illustrations. We can’t get enough of Ernst Haeckel!
- Don’t miss out on the steampunk shark necklace from Cosmic Firefly, you will love all the items they carry. I’m crushing on so many of their business card cases.
- And of course, we’re fond of our coral and sea urchin belt buckle too!

Each of the chandeliers is an octopus. How phenomenal is that?
