I was able to break away and visit my folks on Prince Edward Island, Canada. My favorite place on Earth. My parents, my husband, and the island inspire me to no end.

ART ON THE ROCKIES is a fine arts festival located on the campus of the Colorado Mountain College in Edwards, Colorado. 8 miles from the famous Rocky Mountain community of Vail, 4 miles from upscale Beaver Creek and Avon, located right on I-70 – Edwards is the heart of the Vail Valley Community. A lush summer vacation spot for affluent, local & national buyers that are at the Fest.
WINE & BRUNCH ALL WEEKEND
Outdoor Fine Art and Crafts exhibition, live entertainment stage, children’s hands-on art tent sponsored by local business, fine food and silent auction fundraiser for local community arts facilities.

in the studio :: a portrait of a Bavarian woman
Having lived in Bavaria for several years, this portrait of a woman from Southern Germany (ca. 1520 -1525) has captivated me. I’m excited to be including her in my next papier collé.
