devastating days

I’d like to take a moment and share with you a neighborhood not far from my home. I know the houses all too well. We’re waiting patiently to hear if our house is, or will be, part of the Waldo Canyon Fire. These pictures were taken yesterday evening into night. My heart hurts. {via the Denver Post; (1 & 2) Helen H. Richardson}

    1. Thank you. We are safe. The staff {pups} and I want no part of it. We were evacuated yesterday.

  1. Glad you’re safe, but that is absolutely devastating. I hope your house is safe, and that you’re able to return home soon.

  2. OMG! So glad you are safe and do hope your home is spared. Please keep us updated, you are surely in the prayers of many!!!

    1. It is truly amazing how the community comes together when something like this occurs. We are crossing our fingers. Many have already lost their homes.

  3. I live in Vail and have been watching the news, I will pray for you. I so hope your home and your family are ok

    1. We are very positive no matter what the outcome is. Thank you for your well wishes.
