Minimalistic + a bit industrial + modern with traditional elements. Each bathroom has details that step out of a blah design and into the unique. [PS. We’ll never tire of subway tile.]

{ 1 } Love: Seal skin painted doors { 2 } Love: Gorilla photograph above the loo { 3 } Love: Honeycomb tile floor, plus tell us that’s not the coolest shower?

“Oh.My.God! I think I just found my dreamhome! It’s no secret that I love vintage, eclectic and Scandinavian interiors. But the added industrial touch in this hometour made my heart beat faster.” ~ Jessica via Costello Decorating

We’re with ya Jessica … this interior is right up our alley as well. Starting off with a clean canvas {white} and then adding touches of modern with traditional elements … add in lots of life’s momentos and wooolah, this is whatchya get! Løve it.

amsterdam :: loft living

UXUS designed a private residence located in a historic building on one of Amsterdam’s famous canals. The canal house is located in a 250m2 18th century warehouse with a panoramic view over the city. The owners wanted to keep the original open-plan layout of the space so, UXUS created a series of dramatic curtain walls, which could be opened and closed according to the needs of use. All of the decorative interior elements were selected to reflect the eclectic tastes of the owners.

studio makeover lighting

This lighting has inspired me to take my studio into an industrial antique direction. I’m fond of vintage with a twist of modern.

Check out My Sparrow — a unique site that offers eco friendly items for you and your home. We’re big fans, and we think you will be too! In addition, don’t miss out  My Sparrow’s website.

Which brings us to an overall look … what is industrial meets vintage chic anyway? Well, we’re not really sure, but we’re going to try to mix the above two looks into one. Keep checking in to see what directions we take when revamping the Sage Atelier art studio.
