1 part Mango Rum
1 part pineapple juice
1 part soda water
dash of Blue Curacao
sugar for the rim

First sugar the rim of each glass by dipping the rim in either lemon or lime juice and then into sanding sugar. In a shaker with ice; combine the rum, pineapple juice and blue Curacao and shake. Pour the mixture into an ice filled glass… then fill the rest of the glass with soda water!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 oz. orange liqueur
  • 1 oz. gin
  • 1 oz. pineapple juice
  • Orange slice
  • Mint sprig
  • Soda water

PREPARATION

Combine the orange liqueur, gin and pineapple juice in a glass with ice (Anthro went with their cheery Color Pop Juice Glass). Add the mint and orange slice (after giving it a good squeeze). Stir until chilled and fragrant, then top off with soda water.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Zacapa 23 Rum
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 1 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz Fresh orange juice
  • 1 oz Fresh pineapple juice
  • 1 teaspoon Grade-A maple syrup

Garnish: Pineapple leaf  Glass: Martini

Preparation

Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake well and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a piece of pineapple leaf.

KINGSTON COLADA

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 oz Appleton Estate Reserve Rum
  • 1.5 oz Coconut water
  • 1.5 oz Pineapple juice
  • 3 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Squeeze of lime
  • Garnish: Lime wheel
  • Glass: Rocks

PREPARATION:

Add all the ingredients to a rocks glass filled with ice. Stir, and garnish with a lime wheel.

friday at five :: pomegranate concoction

 

BATIDA ROSA

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz Cachaça
  • 1 oz Pineapple juice
  • .5 oz Lemon juice
  • .5 oz Grenadine
  • 1 oz Club soda

Garnish: Orange peel
Glass: Wine

PREPARATION:
Add all the ingredients except the club soda to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a wine glass filled with fresh ice. Top with the club soda and garnish with an orange peel.

The Cozumel

How could I possibly not salute this week without a drink from my wonderful trip to Cozumel.

1 oz Patrón Silver Tequila
.25 oz Patrón Citrónge Orange Liqueur
Pineapple juice
Lime
Garnish: Lime wheel
Glass: Rocks
PREPARATION:
Pour Patrón Silver Tequila and Patrón Citrónge into a rocks glass full of ice. Fill with pineapple juice and finish with a squeeze of lime. Garnish the drink with a lime wheel. Add a splash of cranberry for an extra twist.
